Signs of spring are everywhere! It always amazes me how quickly the shoots of green spring up out of the earth even though it is still quite cool! I've seen snowdrops and crocus already and the daffodils won't be long now. Spring is such an exciting time of year to watch unfold on a daily basis. The earth is busy renewing itself and so can we! Learning something new, getting a new haircut, trying a new class or even sharing our time with others as a volunteer can be fun ways to renew ourselves.
One of the ways we can renew our bodies is with an Indian Head Massage! This relaxing massage evolved from an ancient healing system and tradition of family grooming in the Indian culture. Indian Head Massage focuses on the areas of our body where we tend to hold a lot of tension: the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck and the scalp. It can incorporate a blend of essential oils if desired. Indian Head Massage can help reduce stress, headaches, tense muscles, eyestrain and insomnia. It also promotes healthy hair and feels fabulous!
Wellness tip for April: Did you know that part of the lymphatic system is found in the scalp?
The lymphatic system carries away toxins and waste while delivering infection-fighting white blood cells to all areas of the body.
So Indian Head Massage feels wonderful & it boosts the immune system!
Enjoy renewing your body, mind and spirit this spring!
