This summer I hope you all get some special time to kick your shoes off and wander through the soft grass. Such a simple pleasure, but going barefoot (with care) has many surprising benefits that are discussed in the wellness tip below. Another way to care for yourself and your feet is, of course, Reflexology. You are invited to bring your partner and join the "Treat for the Feet Workshop" on Thursday August 9th. Relax and reconnect while you both learn how to give an amazing 15 minute foot massage! This class will be held in Oakville from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Please register in advance and see details here. Wellness Tip for July: Going Barefoot Did you know that going barefoot or "grounding" can have significant benefits, such as reducing blood pressure, boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation? Going barefoot outside during the summer can also be a good way to help you stay grounded energetically, improve your sleep and calm the nervous system. Choose to walk on clean, safe surfaces and give those toes a healthy treat!
