11/21/2017 Fall 2017 Update - GratitudeI am very excited to share that I've finally completed my Reiki Masters level this fall! The past few months have been a time of self-discovery and learning for me. I am grateful to those who supported me during this time with their encouraging words and also to those who let me practice on them! In fact this month's wellness tip is about year round thankfulness.
October Wellness Tip: Every day try to take a couple of small breaks to check into your body. Take note of what you are feeling and how you are thinking at that moment. Become aware of your breathing and take a minute to think of three things (big or small) for which you are thankful. You can even try starting a daily gratitude journal. These exercises will help you maintain a more balanced perspective on life. Research has shown that being thankful is great for our body, mind and spirit! What are you thankful for?
