Scheduling Health in September 2019

Like many people, over the past couple of weeks, I have been busy registering kids for extra-curriculars and organizing the family's schedule. This year I am also trying to make sure that I schedule time and budget for my own needs as well.  I'm planning on taking some workshops, making sure that I have time to exercise as well as scheduling some self-care appointments.  That way when life gets even busier, I will be able to put my best foot forward because I have already been taking care of my own health!  I encourage you to take a few moments to schedule for yourself too.  

Since we are on the subject of scheduling, I would like to address a question that clients often ask, "how often should I come for a session?"  This is a great question and depends on the issues that you are working on.  In general, even just one session is helpful to deal with immediate concerns, but if you want to keep your body in balance so that it can function optimally with lots of energy and a robust immune system, you need to schedule sessions on a regular basis.  Once every 2-6 weeks is optimal.  Often I can provide you with "homework" for in-between sessions so that you can maintain wellness or even address an issue on the spot.
